Editorial

Editorial Standards

These standards apply to all publications operated by Nexton Holdings LLC (Delaware, United States). They govern how content is produced, reviewed, attributed, updated and corrected.

Editorial independence

Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial relationships. Advertisers, affiliate partners and networks do not approve, review or influence editorial content, rankings or recommendations. Commercial arrangements never determine a positive assessment.

Attribution by editorial desk

Content is attributed to an editorial desk responsible for a defined coverage area. We do not create fictional authors, invented biographies or unearned credentials. Accountability for all published content rests with Nexton Holdings LLC.

Article byline requirements

Every article displays:

  • the responsible editorial desk;
  • the original published date;
  • the date of the most recent update;
  • a statement that the article was reviewed according to these editorial standards;
  • a link to the corrections policy.

Review methodology

Recommendations are based on documented sources, published specifications, provider terms and, where applicable, direct testing. The basis of an assessment is stated on the article. We describe hands-on testing only where documented testing was actually carried out.

  • Researched evaluation
  • Specification comparison
  • Source-based buying advice
  • Hands-on tested (only where documented testing was carried out)

Fact checking and sourcing

Factual claims are checked against primary sources: provider documentation, official filings, manufacturer specifications and regulatory or statistical publications. Prices, rates, terms and availability change; content states when it was last verified and readers are directed to the provider for current terms.

Updates

Content in commercial categories is reviewed periodically. Substantive changes are reflected in the updated date. Minor typographic fixes do not change the updated date.

Corrections policy

We correct errors promptly. Where a correction materially changes the meaning of an article, the change is noted on the article. Report a suspected error to nexton@nextonholdings.com with the article URL and the specific passage concerned. Requests are reviewed by the responsible desk and answered.

Advertising and affiliate disclosure

Commercial content is labelled and affiliate relationships are disclosed. Sponsored content is clearly identified as such and is not presented as independent editorial.
